Sinopsis
Kubikku is a 3D puzzle game that combines two mechanics: gravity change and construction. The character, a little being that is always levitating, is locked inside a cube with only one exit. The player will have to find the way to reach the final door walking through the walls, building ramps and bridges and avoiding all the traps distributed all around the level. Four levels have been designed everyone with different mechanics and difficulty levels.
Art
As all the levels have a cubic form, we thought that the best art style is the one that uses, only, cubes. That is the reason we used a voxel art in all the game.
Also, we wanted to create a contrast. All the levels have pastel colour, cute art and the traps seem inoffensive. But this trap kills the player with one touch and when this happens, he leaves a big red blood stain.

Mechanics
The game has two core mechanics: gravity and construction; and one objective: reach the door in the correct orientation.
To reach the goal, the player will be able to walk thought the walls. When he steps on the wall all the level rotates and the wall becomes the floor. To see all the level, the player will be free to rotate horizontally the level the times he wants.
The player will have two types of blocks available: ramps and cubes and a limited number of it. He can place they near him and one time the piece is placed, these can not be removed. If the player places the piece in the wrong place, he will have the option to restart the level from the beginning.
If the character touches one trap he dies instantly and respawns al the beginning of the level. The constructions will not be destroyed.
