Headlight (2017) was developed by Headlight Team in the BGW Game Jam in less than 30 hours.

Sinopsis
Headlight is a 2D platform game where darkness surrounds you and the only way to illuminate your path is using the light of your happiness. You want to reach the final door, but be careful! The intensity of your light depends on of your happiness, and don't exist anything worst that being alone. To survive, you will need the help of all the neighbors around you.

Mechanics
A classic lateral 2D scrolling game, but with the peculiarity that the player only can see the level a few meters around him. He has a circular light than surrounds him. When the character is alone, that light will become smaller with every second. Moreover, if the player loses all his light, he dies and the level restarts. The only way to recover the light is to find and approach to one NPC. There are, also, some enemies that instead of giving light, they absorb it.


Art
All the art is unique. All of it created by our artist. The dark aesthetic matches with the core mechanic of always fighting against the darkness.
Award
Headlight received the Best game award in the Barcelona Games World Game Jam.
